PullNode introduces an innovative and user-friendly scheduling feature designed to streamline your web scraping tasks. Our service now allows you to schedule your scraping jobs with unprecedented ease, thanks to our natural language processing AI and the traditional Cron expression editor. This document outlines how you can leverage this functionality to automate your scraping activities efficiently.

Setting Your Schedule​

Using Natural Language​

  1. Navigate to the Scheduler section of your project on the PullNode dashboard.
  2. In the Text to Schedule input field, type your desired schedule, such as "Mondays and Fridays at 3 AM and 7 PM".
  3. Our AI will interpret your input and automatically convert it to a Cron expression, which you can view and edit in the Cron expression section of the scheduler editor.

Using Cron Expressions​

For those who prefer direct control or have specific scheduling needs, the Cron expression editor offers full customization.

  1. In the scheduler editor, expand the Editor dropdown.
  2. Locate the Cron Expression section and enter your custom Cron expression to define your schedule.
  3. Adjust the Timezone if necessary to match your local or target timezone.
